Glances of Shimla

Day 01Arrive Chandigarh, Chandigarh- Shimla (115 Kms. - 4 hrs. approx)

Arrive by flight / Train, after traditional "Swagat" (Welcome) our representative would assist you at airport / railway station & Proceed for sight-seeing of Chandigarh if time permitted. Visit Sukhna Lake, Rock Garden etc.

After sightseeing we drive to Shimla - spilling over the steep slopes of a 12 km ridge, in the lower Himalayas, the summer capital of erstwhile. Now the capital of the state of Himachal Pradesh, it evokes a sense of nostalgia with its pretty gabled cottages, half-timbered buildings and old churches. The Mall is agog with elegant shops and bustling, gay cosmopolitan crowds. In the centre of the city is the famous scandal point. The Ridge is a place where all tourist flock and spend time.

Day 02Shimla

After Morning breakfast proceed to visit Jakhu Temple, dedicated to Hanuman from where you enjoy an excellent view of Shimla. Next visit the Viceregal Lodge which once served as the seat of power rest of the day is free to explore Shimla's famous mall road in the evening return back to hotel. During sightseeing take the toy train ride & Enjoy the memorable journey of toy train passing through the hills.

Day 03Shimla- Kufri- Chandigarh (150 Kms. - 5 hrs approx)

Today morning transfer to Chandigarh en-route visit the Kufri, 14 km from Shimla. In Kufri visit Indira Bungalow and the Himalayan Zoo. (if time permitted)
After sightseeing continue transfer to Chandigarh airport or Railway station / Hotel for onward journey with sweet memories of a wonderful trip.
