Day 01ARRIVAL IN LEH

Arrive in Leh via a morning flight and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy a welcome drink and spend the day at leisure to acclimatize to Leh’s high altitude (3,500 meters).

Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02LEH - SHAM VALLEY EXCURSION (65 KM / 4 HRS ONE WAY)

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive along the River Indus on the Leh-Kargil Highway. Highlights of the day include:

• Hall of Fame: Visit this museum constructed by the Indian Army, showcasing the bravery of Indian soldiers, including exhibits from the Kargil War and a touching documentary.
• Gurudwara Patthar Sahib: Built in memory of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, this sacred site is nestled deep in the Himalayas at an altitude of 3,600 meters.
• Magnetic Hill: Experience the mysterious phenomenon where vehicles appear to roll uphill against gravity.
• Confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers: Witness the spectacular meeting point of the blue Zanskar River and the green Indus River at Nimmu Village.
• Shanti Stupa: Admire the stunning panoramic views of Leh from this Buddhist white-domed stupa, built in 1991.
• Leh Palace: Explore the former royal palace, offering sweeping views of Leh and the surrounding mountains.

Return to Leh for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03LEH TO NUBRA VALLEY VIA KHARDUNG LA (120 KM / 4-5 HRS)

Post-breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La, the world’s second-highest motorable road at 5,602 meters (18,390 ft). Enjoy breathtaking views of the Zanskar and Saser Massif mountain ranges.

Nubra Valley, also known as the "Valley of Flowers," lies between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges at an altitude of 10,000 ft. Check in at your camp or hotel in Hunder. In the evening, explore the local villages and experience the lifestyle of the region’s residents.

Overnight stay at the camp or hotel.

Day 04NUBRA VALLEY TO PANGONG LAKE (150 KM / 5 HRS)

After an early breakfast, visit Hunder to enjoy a ride on a Bactrian (double-humped) camel amidst the sand dunes of this high-altitude desert.

Continue to Diskit, the main town of Nubra Valley, where you can explore the local bazaar. The journey to Pangong Tso takes you through the scenic Agham and Shyok Valley, offering an adventurous yet picturesque drive.

Arrive at Pangong Lake, situated at 4,267 meters (14,000 ft). Check in at your camp or hotel near the lake.

Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 05PANGONG LAKE TO LEH VIA CHANGLA (140 KM / 6 HRS)

Spend a leisurely morning taking in the beauty of Pangong Lake. Later, drive back to Leh via the Changla Pass (5,486 meters). En route, visit:

• Hemis Monastery: The largest monastic institution of the Drukpa Kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism.
• Thiksey Monastery: An impressive, tiered complex overlooking the village.
• Shey Palace: The ancient capital of Ladakh.
• Rancho’s School (3 Idiots School): A fun visit to the school made famous by the Bollywood movie 3 Idiots.

Arrive in Leh for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 06DEPARTURE FROM LEH

After breakfast, transfer to Leh’s domestic airport for your onward journey. Tour concludes with beautiful memories of Ladakh.
