Day 01Arrival in NJP / IXB – Transfer to Gangtok

• Destination: Gangtok (5412 ft / 1650 m)
• Distance & Duration: 130 km | 4-5 hours drive

Upon arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) (413 ft / 126 m), you will be greeted by our local representative, who will assist you with the transfer to Gangtok.

Day 02Excursion to Tshangu Lake & New Baba Mandir

• Tshangu Lake: (12,400 ft / 3780 m | 43 km | 2-hour drive one way)
• New Baba Mandir: (13,100 ft / 3994 m | 18 km | 1-hour drive from Tshangu Lake)

After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Tshangu Lake and New Baba Mandir. Return to Gangtok by evening.

Day 03Gangtok Sightseeing

After breakfast, explore the major attractions of Gangtok, including:

Day 04Transfer from Gangtok to Darjeeling

• Destination: Darjeeling (6710 ft / 2046 m)
• Distance & Duration: 110 km | 4-5 hours’ drive

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Darjeeling. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Day 05Darjeeling Sightseeing & Sunrise at Tiger Hill

• Darjeeling Altitude: 6710 ft / 2046 m

Early Morning Excursion:

• Depart at 4:00 AM (subject to weather conditions) for a visit to Tiger Hill (8482 ft / 2586 m), where you can witness a breathtaking sunrise over the majestic Kanchenjunga Peak (the world’s third-highest peak).
• Return to the hotel for breakfast.

Day 06Departure – Darjeeling to NJP / IXB

• Destination: NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport
• Distance & Duration: 100 km | 3-4 hours drive

After breakfast, transfer to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) for your onward journey.

Important Notes:

• Documents Required for Tshangu Lake & New Baba Mandir:
• Two passport-sized photos
• Photocopy of a valid photo ID (Passport, Driving License, or Voter ID)
• PAN Card & Aadhaar Card are not accepted.
• For children below 18 years, an English-translated Birth Certificate and a valid School/College ID are mandatory. Original documents must be carried.
• Alternative Sightseeing:
• If the visit to Tshangu Lake is not possible due to a landslide or unforeseen circumstances, alternative sightseeing will be arranged.
• Foreign Nationals, OCI & PIO Card Holders:
• The process for obtaining permits differs. Kindly inform us in advance to arrange the itinerary accordingly.

Optional Excursion:

• Nathula Pass (14,137 ft / 4310 m) – Indo-China Border (Closed on Mondays for tourists)

• Visit is restricted to Indian nationals only.
• Requires an advance permit and involves an additional cost (refer to the Supplement & Optional Cost section).

Important Notes:

• Tiger Hill visit is subject to availability of permits, as only 600 vehicles are allowed in the morning. If permits are unavailable, an alternate visit will be arranged after breakfast.
